lost time

darling beta, Its been a great month... september!You had your first outstation holiday at mallan and Faridas farm house in khardi, a banglore trip with mum for sheetals wedding and a rollicking time with rohan and diva. I was very happy to see both of you back as i was missing you guys a lot. Mummas film Johnny Gaddaar released on the 28th and my birthday on the 30th. You have become a much noisier kid and have also started humming quite a bit.We have started giving you showers as well which is quite a bit of fun for all parties involved!

Granny came to see you.

Granny went via Mumbai specifically, (so she could see you)to Australia to meet Fui and Cyrus bhaiya and Avan didi. You had a great time with her, see photos!

Beta, we had a blast today as mum had gone out for lunch! hahah boys only afternoon except for mumtaz who came in to clean and entertained you for a bit. We should do this more often, but i think mum cant handle it so maybe sometimes we'd make an exception for her;)!

rickshaw ride

Aadero, 2 months old today! took you for your first rickshaw ride, you looked like you could do with an outing (actually it was mum who needed it!) I cannot tell you how cool you were about it. we went to Mithus place and guess what? you created a ruckus when we got off the rick...till we were to return...you rocked on the way back too... so its confirmed we go for a spin once in awhile in an auto...done deal. Also mum put a cap on you of which i have a picture... says it all! love you.Pa.

week 3

Dearest son, Its 11 pm and you are wide awake in my lap, its way, way, waaay, past your bedtime. Ma is totally exhausted looking after you the whole day and is now taking a nap. Whilst you my darling puked on me and then followed it up a brilliant smile...probably seeing my reaction! You are quite the grossuu boy, farting, burping and putting anything in sight into your mouth. We have pretty much formed a routine now which starts with you getting up twice a night sometimes thrice to be fed by ma, by about 6 am you are with me we go to the front room and do masti till you are hungry, after your feed we try and read the papers...during which you invariably doze off! Get up poop and watch me make funny faces cleaning you up.
Then comes your maalish and bath which you have been very good about the last few days otherwise you howl...like in wake up the building howl. Then I go off to work and you give ma a tough time by constantly being hungry and not sleeping at all. I wonder who you got that from;)! Just saw/heard you having a conversation with your best friend the fan...so i guess all is good!

outing

Today you were in rockstar mode since morning happy and smiling away... we decided to go for a little spin and landed up for lunch and some work at ma's office...you continued to have fun with rakesh mama. Then we went to get some stuff for you from the mall... you must have not liked it to much as you threw tantrum after tantrum and we made it worse by getting traffic! A fifty fifty day. Heres some pictures of you and ma getting ready and at office.

Day 3

What fun we spent from 6 to 8 this morning checking out the sunrise.

Today is here...

Aader beta , the toran, malas and saes are ready and i cant wait to welcome you into your own house. I've done my best and hope that this day will be as auspicious and happy for you as it is for me. Be it the 40th day of your birth, its like the first day for me. I cant wait to hear the gurgles, yips, squeaks, screams and tantrums in our own house completing our family and making our house a home. I promise you kindness, affection, peace of mind and a generosity of spirit to the best of my ability and to keep you away from any negativity and unhappiness at any cost.

One day to go...

Darling Aader, I can not even begin to describe how excited I am about mummy and you coming home tomorrow. Your cot is set up and am waiting for the new mattress to come in to make your bed. I suspect though that you will spend all your time between mummy and me on the bed. Its something i did as a kid (and teen!) snuggle up between your Silloo grma and Eruch grpa, every given chance!
